Our two, large landing craft, the Lionel Plante Sr. and the Ft. Gaines mean that we can schedule your cargo easily and efficiently. The Lionel Plante Sr. is a custom built, 85 foot landing craft capable of hauling everything from moving vans, dump trucks, cement trucks and large earth moving equipment and is also certified for carrying dangerous cargo such as explosives for blasting.
The Ft. Gaines, the newest addition to LPA, is even bigger. 121 feet in length and capable of carrying 22 cars or up to 5 large dump trucks at a time, the Ft. Gaines requires no dock to land, just as with the Lionel Plane Sr. All we need is a good beach and a high tide to get vehicles on and off whatever job site you have.
Both vessels run the New England coast working public and private islands and coastal properties.
We can also offer transport on two smaller boats for visiting job sites. Whatever your marine transportation needs are, we can take care of them.
